Death Note
Death Note is Japanese manga created by writer Tsugumi Ohba and manga artist Takeshi Obata. It centers on 'Light Yagami', a high school student who discovers a supernatural notebook entitled "Death Note". This note book grants its user the ability to kill anyone they wish as long as they know the name and the face of the person they want to eliminate. The thrilling, exciting series centers around Light's continuous attempts to create and rule a world "Cleansed of evil" and becoming the "God" of that world using the notebook while the efforts of a detective known as L try to stop him.
The person who owns the Death Note is accompanied by a 'Shinigami' who watches over the human race; they are otherwise known as 'Gods of Death'. Light obtained the Death Note by a Shinigami named 'Ryuk' who accidentally dropping his notebook into the human realm. Light picked up this notebook giving him the ability to see and hear Ryuk, this gives Light the advantage of Ryuk seeing things that Light may or may not see. Once Light gets the notebook Ryuk has to follow him as anyone who gets hold of a Shinigami notebook becomes their master. Light and Ryuk go through many tough challenges throughout the 12 mangas. Only to behold their greatest challenge in the 12th volume!

Kuroko no Basuke
Kuroko no Basuke is an amazing anime/manga which is about basketball. The main characters are Kuroko and Kagami. Basically Kuroko used to play for a school team which were nick named "The Generation of Miracles" because they were all amazing at basketball since they all have a special ability but, he was known as the phantom sixth man since he was mostly on the bench.
Kagami on the other hand Kagami is japanese but lived in America for most of his life and started of in the streets. As the both join Seirin High School and Kuroko makes a big vow to make Kagami the best japanese basketball player and their aim to to win the Winter Cup.
What I dislike about Kuroko no Basuke is the over hyped it can be, Although it's similar to free iwatomi swim club, it has a lot of yaoi bits. It doesn't get the apprieciation it deserves, causing it to have no manga volumes printed in the u.s or u.k, it also does not have any dubbed episodes.
